Nikki Haley Drops Out Of Presidential Election Race?!

(VitalNews.org) – Nikki Haley has officially dropped her candidacy from the presidential race for the upcoming election as the last-standing primary competitor to Donald Trump.

Haley ended the Super Tuesday primaries having lost 14 of the Super Tuesday elections out of 15 and stating that she’d be dropping out of the presidential race. Nikki Haley, a former South Carolina governor, ended her running by stating that she would not support Trump in his race as other Republican candidates have, but she instead challenged Trump to win over her voters.

During a speech in Charleston, South Carolina she said, “The time has now come to suspend my campaign.”

“I said I wanted Americans to have their voices heard. I have done that. I have no regrets,” she continued.

Haley has lost many state primaries, including Iowa, Nevada, and even her home state of South Carolina. When it came to Super Tuesday, out of the 15 states that participated, Haley lost to 14 of them and only won one state.

Haley is the last of Trump’s rivals and she, for a long time, said that she would not be stepping down from the election. With her dropping out of the race, Trump will have the republican spot in the upcoming presidential election in November.

Trump is facing 91 criminal charges and although he is on trial, he is still able to be placed on the ballot because of a Supreme Court ruling that was just announced.

Nikki Haley’s career started when she worked alongside Trump in 2016 after being South Carolina’s governor. She then presented herself as an alternative to Donald Trump for the current presidential election.
