(VitalNews.org) – Nikki Haley has recently spoken out about her rival Donald Trump saying that he was ”unhinged” and “not the man he was in 2016.”
Nikki Haley is the last standing rival of Donald Trump on the Republican side before the upcoming presidential elections in November. Haley called out Trump and how he has mocked her husband, as well as other military members, and has called out his behavior for what it is.
“But you mock one member of the military, you mock all members of the military … Before when he did it, it was during the 2016 election, and everybody thought, ‘Oh, did he have a slip? What did that mean?’ The problem now is he is not the same person he was in 2016. He is unhinged. He is more diminished than he was,” she said.
Hayley speaking of Trump being “diminished” is her way of speaking on his age and the capabilities of what he can do as president. She’s spoken before about how presidents should be put through cognitive tests if they are older. With this said, she also says the same about Joe Biden.
Nikki Haley said, “I have said any of those 14 Republican candidates would be better than Joe Biden because everybody sees how diminished Joe Biden is.” She continued, saying that if Trump had to go up against Biden she would back Trump.
She continues, “But I will also tell you there is no way that the American people are going to vote for a convicted criminal. They’re not.”
Nikki Haley was referencing the recent charges that Trump is currently facing. He is facing 91 criminal charges under four different indictments which pertain to everything from involvement in the Capitol riot to overturning the 2020 election, and other criminal activity as well. A verdict on all of these charges is yet to have been reached.
