NEW: Biden Speaks About Cancer Diagnosis

After sparking controversy for hiding details about his health during his time in the White House, Joe Biden has decided to bask in the spotlight with some details.

The disgraced Democrat now claims to be feeling “good” and “optimistic” about his aggressive prostate cancer diagnosis.

Biden made his first public appearance since his cancer diagnosis at a Memorial Day service in Delaware, where he spoke about his treatment plan.

The 82-year-old explained that his treatment involves a specific pill regimen over the following weeks.

“The expectation is we’re going to be able to beat this, I’m feeling good,” Biden said.

He added, “It’s all a matter of taking one particular pill for the next six weeks and then another one. It’s not in any organ, my bones are strong, so I’m feeling good.”

While Biden attempts to project strength, his health struggles come amid renewed scrutiny of his mental fitness following revelations in a new book titled “Original Sin” by Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson.

The book casts a spotlight on Jill Biden’s influence in the White House and her role in covering up her husband’s declining mental state, something the Biden team firmly denies.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt did not hold back in her criticism.

She said, “Frankly, the former first lady should certainly speak up about what we saw in regard to her husband and when she saw it and what she knew.”

During the Memorial Day event, Biden also paid tribute to his late son Beau, who died of brain cancer.

“This day is the 10th anniversary of the loss of my son Beau, who spent a year in Iraq. And to be honest, it’s a hard day,” Biden remarked.

Biden’s cancer diagnosis comes less than a year after he was forced to abandon his reelection campaign following his disastrous debate performance against President Donald Trump, which raised serious concerns about his cognitive abilities.

When reporters questioned his fitness, Biden defensively responded, “You can see I’m mentally incompetent and I can walk and I can beat the hell out of both of them.”

He even challenged fellow Democrats who questioned his original decision to seek reelection: “Why didn’t they run against me then? Because I’d have beaten them.”

While Biden works with a leading surgeon who reportedly had the same diagnosis 32 years ago, Americans remain skeptical about whether they are getting the full picture regarding the Democrat’s health.

This cancer diagnosis adds another chapter to the ongoing saga of Biden’s physical and mental fitness that dominated headlines throughout his tenure.

Despite the serious nature of his condition, Biden appeared more forceful than in other appearances, perhaps in an effort to dispel concerns about his overall health.

Only time will tell if Biden’s optimistic prognosis proves accurate. Still, many Americans remain concerned about the transparency surrounding his condition after years of questions about his physical and mental capabilities.
