Trump SLAMS Musk: ‘OFF THE RAILS’!

Elon Musk’s latest tirade on his social media has prompted a response from President Donald Trump, who said the tech mogul has gone “off the rails.”

Specifically, President Trump criticized Musk after the tech billionaire announced his new “America Party.”

The dramatic fallout between the former allies has many questioning Musk’s true motives for creating a third party that could potentially split the Republican vote in upcoming elections.

In a scathing Truth Social post, President Trump did not mince words about his former Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) leader.

“I am saddened to watch Elon Musk go completely ‘off the rails,’ essentially becoming a train wreck over the past five weeks,” the president wrote.

President Trump made it clear he believes third parties only create “complete and total disruption and chaos” in America’s political system.

“I think it’s ridiculous to start a third party. The Democrats have lost their way but it’s always been a two party system and I think starting a third party just adds to confusion,” he added.

The public feud erupted after Musk announced on X (formerly Twitter) that he had established the “America Party” to challenge what he called the Republican and Democratic “Uniparty.”

Musk claimed, “When it comes to bankrupting our country with waste & graft, we live in a one-party system, not a democracy. Today, the America Party is formed to give you back your freedom.”

The relationship between President Trump and Musk began deteriorating over disagreements about the president’s tax and spending bill.

Musk publicly criticized the legislation, claiming it negated the cost savings his DOGE team had achieved.

President Trump also ended tax breaks for electric vehicles in his plan, a move that directly impacted Musk’s Tesla business interests.

The president further revealed that Musk had tried to exert inappropriate influence over his administration.

“When Elon gave me his total and unquestioned Endorsement, I asked him whether or not he knew that I was going to terminate the EV Mandate – It was in every speech I made, and in every conversation I had. He said he had no problems with that,” the president stated.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent weighed in on the controversy, suggesting Musk should stick to what he does best.

“I believe that the boards of directors at his various companies wanted him to come back and run those companies, which he is better at than anyone,” Bessent said.

Musk claims the America Party will initially focus on House and Senate races rather than the presidency.

He announced the party after conducting a poll on X, where he claimed users supported the idea “by a factor of 2 to 1.”

However, some analysts have questioned the legitimacy of online polls that can be easily manipulated.

The timing of Musk’s announcement has raised eyebrows among Trump supporters who see it as a potential attempt to splinter the conservative vote.

Third parties have historically failed to gain significant traction in American politics but have succeeded in drawing votes away from major parties, potentially influencing election outcomes.

The fracturing of this once-strong alliance highlights the challenges President Trump faces as he navigates relationships with powerful business leaders whose personal agendas may not always align with the America First movement.

As the 2026 midterm elections approach, conservatives will be watching closely to see if Musk’s America Party poses a genuine threat to Republican unity or if it will fade away like previous third-party efforts.
