U.S. Sends Love to Princess of Wales Amid Cancer Diagnosis

(VitalNews.org) – The White House and United States as a whole has wished the Princess of Wales a full recovery after announcing her cancer diagnosis.

Biden’s Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre spoke out to the Princess just recently following the news. “All of us just heard the terrible news. Our thoughts are with the Duchess of Cambridge and her family members and friends during this incredibly difficult time, and certainly we wish her a full recovery,” she said.

Jean-Pierre also said to the public that they should respect their privacy at this time. There was speculation online regarding Catherine’s low profile she was keeping prior to her announcement.

The announcement was filmed in the gardens of Windsor Castle and the Princess spoke about her diagnosis and cancer treatment. She said that the cancer was found back at the beginning of the year after getting abdominal surgery.

“We hope you will understand that, as a family, we now need some time, space and privacy while I complete my treatment,” she continued. “My work has always brought me a deep sense of joy and I look forward to being back when I am able, but for now I must focus on making a full recovery.”

She ended her message by saying that they told their kids she was going to be okay and that she is getting stronger every day. She continued to express her love and appreciation to those going through the same struggles that cancer can bring.
