(VitalNews.org) – Tulsi Gabbard, who once ran for president for the Democratic party, is taking on a role in Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign.
She will play a huge role in moderating Trump’s campaign when he comes to La Crosse in Wisconsin. She has also been a driving force in helping him prepare for his debate with Kamala Harris.
Gabbard publicly endorsed Trump in Michigan earlier and joined his campaign transition team alongside Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who also dropped out and took a stand with Donald Trump.
Gabbard said, “This administration has us facing multiple wars on multiple fronts and regions around the world and closer to the brink of nuclear war than we ever have been before.”
”This is one of the main reasons why I’m committed to doing all that I can to send President Trump back to the White House, where he can, once again, serve us as our commander in chief,” she continued.
Gabbard left the Democratic Party in 2022 and has registered as an independent, recently expressing views that align with Republicans and Trump himself.
One of these things in particular is that she opposed the United States helping Ukraine in their war against Russia. It has been said by Gabbard that the main reason she’s switched sides is because of the current wars and the increasing danger of a nuclear war.
Gabbard has been mercurial with her support; she was endorsing President Biden in 2020 after she stepped out of the race, but now, she’s endorsing Donald Trump. This is due to a shift in opinion that now shares more with the Republican Party than that of the Democratic Party.
