There have been fears around Donald Trump and what exactly his presidency would be like, especially after telling a group of Christians that they “wouldn’t have to vote” in four years if he gets elected. At the beginning of Trump’s first term, many had issues with what he said and how he represented the Christian religion. Since then, Trump has tried connecting more with this demographic after saying some not-so-likable things during his first term.
As Trump has received backlash for appointing JD Vance to run with him, he has poked for support from Christians. Some have even compared him to the Messiah and said that he was sent here directly by God. He continues in his rallies to relate to Christians and prioritize the demographic by pushing an extremist narrative.
