(VitalNews.org) – Donald Trump doesn’t seem to hold the same authority over Kamala Harris as he did Joe Biden. So, Trump’s campaign is counting on young male voters to push Trump to victory in this year’s upcoming election.
Trump and his campaign have been scrambling since Joe Biden stepped out of the presidential race. His campaign is insisting things haven’t changed, despite the polls tightening with Kamala Harris becoming the Democratic nominee.
Tony Fabrizio, Trump campaign pollster, said, “What has happened is we are witnessing a kind of out-of-body experience where we have suspended reality for a couple of weeks.”
“The honeymoon period’s gonna end. Let me tell you: We have the enthusiasm,” he added.
Campaign officials have said that they recognize Harris has energized and ignited the Democratic party, however, they feel that the momentum is strong enough to win the election. When looking at fundraiser money, Trump has raised more than Harris in their campaigning efforts.
Senior officials are focusing on groups of voters that would potentially sway the election. In Trump’s case, this seems to be young male voters who have recently found his campaign appealing.
Explaining the interviews, Fabrizio said, “There is a reason why we’re doing podcasts. There is a reason why we’re doing Adin Ross.”
Fabrizio is referring to the controversial internet personality who did an online interview with Donald Trump. This move is right in line with trying to attract the younger male population of voters.
Fabrizio added, “There’s way more information about her that they don’t know that they’re going to hear. And we’re going to make sure they’re going to get.” The campaigners say that neither candidate will necessarily be liked, but that voters will most likely choose a candidate that they think will help more economically.
