(VitalNews.org) – In a bombshell development, the FBI has finally captured a domestic terrorist who had been evading justice for over two decades.

Vegan extremist and animal rights wacko Daniel Andreas San Diego was wanted for bombings in California.

He was arrested in Wales, exposing the dangerous reality of left-wing eco-terrorism on American soil.

British authorities caught San Diego, a 46-year-old computer network specialist, after a 20-year manhunt for his involvement in two bombings targeting companies with ties to animal testing.

The 2003 attacks struck Chiron Corporation in Emeryville and Shaklee Corporation in Pleasanton, California.

Although no injuries were reported from the bombings, the intent to cause serious harm was clear.

At Chiron, the first bomb detonated early in the morning. A second device had a timer to explode an hour later in an attempt to harm emergency responders arriving at the scene.

FBI Director Christopher Wray spoke about the significance of this arrest, stating, “Daniel San Diego’s arrest after more than 20 years as a fugitive for two bombings in the San Francisco area shows that no matter how long it takes, the FBI will find you and hold you accountable.”

“There’s a right way and a wrong way to express your views in our country, and turning to violence and destruction of property is not the right way,” Wray added.

San Diego’s capture highlights the ongoing threat of domestic terrorism from radical left-wing groups.

Added to the FBI’s most-wanted terrorists list in 2009, he was the first domestic terrorist to earn that distinction.

The FBI’s relentless pursuit of San Diego included a $250,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.

San Diego’s capture in Wales also raises questions about the international networks supporting these extremists.

The FBI had long suspected he might have ties to global animal-rights extremist groups, initially believing he may have fled to Costa Rica.

San Diego faces extradition to the United States and is expected to be held fully accountable for his actions.
