SHEIN Sues Temu Over Copyright Infringement Amid Legal Feud

(VitalNews.org) – SHEIN has filed another lawsuit against competitor Temu, accusing the China-founded platform of stealing its designs and copying its products. They also accused the company of engaging in other types of fraud.

The lawsuit was filed in a Washington federal court and alleges that Temu has subsidized its low prices by encouraging sellers to sell counterfeit products, bad quality products, and stolen designs.

The coincidence is that SHEIN is the target of lawsuits for the exact same thing from brands and designers that have accused the company of stealing their designs. SHEIN is a cheap online retailer that sells SHEIN branded clothing items that appear beautifully modeled in photos and for a shockingly affordable price.

Many top designers and brands have stated that the China-owned company has copied their exact designs and sold dupes for a lower cost.

According to a spokesperson from Temu, SHEIN’s “audacity is unbelievable.”

The spokesperson added, “Shein, buried under its own mountain of IP lawsuits, has the nerve to fabricate accusations against others for the very misconduct they’re repeatedly sued for.”

The lawsuit against Temu is just another representation of the escalation of lawsuits attached to both of these companies. Both companies have been recognized for their copycat designs, cheap clothing, and otherwise enticing advertisements and product photos.

People have long loved to shop from both websites, but with these lawsuits, there could be major changes on the way for both of them.
