(VitalNews.org) – Highlighting the dire consequences of the Biden-Harris administration’s open borders, a Florida woman was on the brink of falling victim to a horrifying attack by an illegal.
However, the victim avoided a horrible end as she cleverly used a coded 911 call disguised as a pizza order.
Her quick thinking allowed her to get rescued from an attempted sexual assault by Luis Diego Hernandez-Moncayo, who was in the country illegally from Mexico.
The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office responded swiftly to the unusual call. They arrived at a rural area in Pierson, Florida, to find Hernandez-Moncayo on top of the distressed victim.
Sheriff Mike Chitwood described the scene: “It was not only frightening but for the deputies to walk in on that and this woman was absolutely hysterical. What if that had been my daughter?”
The victim, who was friends with Hernandez-Moncayo, reported that his behavior changed drastically after he consumed alcohol and cocaine.
“When he does the line of cocaine, he automatically does a 180, and it goes from a very pleasant time to she becomes very, very scared as to what’s about to transpire,” Sheriff Chitwood explained.
The quick-thinking victim managed to fight off her attacker long enough to make the life-saving call.
When the 911 dispatcher heard the unusual pizza order, they immediately recognized it as a coded call for help.
“I would like to order a pizza,” the victim said, to which the dispatcher responded, “Okay. Are you aware you’re calling 911?” This exchange allowed authorities to triangulate her location and send help.
Hernandez-Moncayo now faces multiple felony charges, including attempted sexual battery, battery by strangulation and false imprisonment.
He has also been placed under an immigration detainer, which ensures that he will not be released back into our communities.
“So he should not, fingers crossed, be going anywhere or getting back out again anytime shortly,” Sheriff Chitwood assured.
