Republicans Want Trump to Focus on Economy and Immigration

(VitalNews.org) – Republicans have called on Donald Trump to focus his energy on important matters such as immigration and the economy, instead of stances on social issues.

This comes as personal attacks have been at the forefront of both sides of the presidential race and many worry that focusing on this is a distraction that might hinder him from defeating Kamala Harris.

Republicans continue fighting the cultural war so many are leaning on cultural issues like wokeism and trans rights. Republicans are hoping to expand into purple states such as Michigan, Arizona, Nevada, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania.

The Senate Leadership Fund, the top GOP super PAC, released ads that ran in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Montana knocking Democratic incumbents for certain topics like allowing “biological men” to compete in “women’s sports.”

Tim Sheehy, a republican nominee, spoke out about a “drag queen story time on our military bases” and how he was running to “get this woke crap out of our military.”

Bernie Moreno, an Ohio GOP nominee, wrote on his website to “end wokeness and cancel culture.” This is all part of a ploy by the Republican Party to destroy the image of Democrats in the most crucial states.

“It’s less about the actual trans issue itself and more about what their support for that issue actually says about their overall worldview,” said a GOP strategist.

Much of the GOP is focusing on social issues so Trump can focus his campaigning on the bigger issues that are more politically related.
