OVERNIGHT: Trade War Explodes

NEWS ALERT

BREAKING NOW: The threat became a reality! China has started a huge trade war as a retaliatory strike against President Donald Trump’s America First agenda.

Specifically, just hours ago, Beijing slapped 84% tariffs on American goods, more than doubling the previous 34% rate.

The Chinese government announced the dramatic increase after President Trump imposed a decisive 104% tariff on Chinese imports.

China’s Office of the Tariff Commission of the State Council confirmed that the new 84% tariffs will take effect tomorrow.

The move comes in direct response to President Trump’s aggressive trade policy designed to protect American jobs and industries from Chinese market manipulation.

President Trump implemented his 104% tariff on Chinese goods starting today, making clear his administration will no longer tolerate China’s economic warfare against American workers.

Despite doomsday warnings about economic consequences, the president remains firm in his America First approach.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated the president “will be incredibly gracious, but he’s going to do what’s best for the American people.”

Global markets have shown nervousness over the escalation, with European stock indexes falling and oil prices dropping below $60 per barrel.

However, President Trump’s strategy appears to be working. China seems increasingly desperate to find a resolution, though it still maintains a tough public posture.

China has also added certain U.S. entities to export control and “unreliable entity” lists as part of its retaliatory measures, showing how seriously it is taking President Trump’s pressure campaign.

“China also wants to make a deal, badly, but they don’t know how to get it started. We are waiting for their call,” President Trump stated firmly.

Meanwhile, Russia has aligned with China against American interests. Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova claimed:

“It seems to me that the White House’s latest tariff decision, which goes against or is contrary to (and) violates fundamental WTO rules, demonstrates that Washington no longer considers itself bound by the norms of international trade law.”

This alliance between America’s adversaries underscores the importance of President Trump’s strong stance on trade and national security.

The Trump administration recently cautioned other countries against retaliating, signaling that America would not back down from protecting its economic interests.

Some countries like Japan have shown openness to negotiation, while China has chosen a confrontational path.

Before the full trade policy rollout, the U.S. had already targeted China, Canada, and Mexico with tariffs aimed at curbing the flow of deadly fentanyl into American communities.

“Judging from its actions, the U.S. doesn’t seem to be serious about having talks right now. If the U.S. truly wants to talk, it should let people see that they’re ready to treat others with equality, respect and mutual benefit,” said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian.

China has previously labeled President Trump’s tactics as “bullying practices.”

Still, many see his approach as long overdue toughness against a regime that has stolen American jobs, technology, and intellectual property for decades.

The Chinese government released a white paper criticizing U.S. tariffs as “unilateralism and protectionism,” yet it failed to address its systematic trade violations that have harmed American industries.

As the trade war intensifies, President Trump’s strategy appears clear: force China to negotiate fairly by demonstrating America’s economic power.
