(VitalNews.org) – Lunden Roberts, the mother of Hunter Biden’s forgotten child, is now working at a gun store following the settlement of her legal battle over child support.
Roberts, 32, is the mother of Navy Joan Roberts, who was fathered by President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden, as confirmed by a court-ordered paternity test in 2019. Hunter Biden is currently embroiled in an ongoing legal battle and facing federal gun charges for purchasing a weapon while addicted to drugs without reporting his narcotics use.
Ironically, Roberts now works at a gun store called Rob Roberts Custom Gun Works, which is owned by her father and located in Batesville, Arkansas. The store, which frequently posts patriotic social media content, makes custom rifles. Months after reaching a settlement with Hunter Biden in her child support case regarding their daughter, Roberts joined her father’s company to work on the customer service team.
Roberts posted about her new job on social media. Some of her latest posts show her firing guns and working with her family members. Her father was also recently spotted shooting alongside former President Donald Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr.
Hunter Biden did not acknowledge his daughter’s existence at first. And his father, President Biden, also refused to mention his seventh grandchild in public comments, even excluding Navy from their White House stocking decorations during last year’s Christmas season. Biden has since acknowledged his granddaughter after the trial with Roberts came to a close, although he and the first lady still have not met the child.
Hunter Biden appeared in court in May and asked the judge to reduce his $20,000 monthly child support payments to Roberts, arguing that “substantial material change” in his financial situation meant he could no longer afford the large sum demanded by Roberts. A settlement was reached in June, and Hunter Biden’s payments were brought down to $5,000 a month. Roberts also agreed to drop her case requesting their daughter’s name be changed to Biden, accepting some of Hunter Biden’s art in exchange.
The President and first lady said Roberts and their son are “working together to foster a relationship” in Navy’s best interests, and in a way that preserves “her privacy as much as possible.” Biden said the situation was “a family matter” and “not a political issue,” claiming he and his wife want what’s “best for all” of their grandchildren.
