(VitalNews.org) – Taking decisive action to protect American citizens, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem personally joined ICE agents in New York City to remove “dirt bags” from the streets.

Watch the video down below.

By doing so, the newly confirmed secretary is showcasing her commitment to enforcing immigration laws and keeping communities safe.

The former governor of South Dakota took part in early morning immigration raids targeting criminal illegal aliens in New York City.

The operation focused on arresting the “worst of the worst,” including individuals with serious criminal charges such as kidnapping, assault, and burglary.

“We are picking up the worst of the worst in this country that are making our streets so dangerous. The community is safer now. That’s the reality of it,” Noem stated during an appearance on Fox News’ Hannity show.

“Dirtbags like this will continue to be removed from our streets,” the secretary continued.

The raids resulted in the arrest of three individuals, including a man with an international warrant for homicide and a ringleader of the notorious Tren de Aragua gang.

These successful operations highlight the effectiveness of ICE in targeting noncitizens who pose significant threats to public safety.

Noem’s hands-on approach has earned her praise from conservatives and nicknames like “ICE Barbie” and “American Badass.”

Her dedication to enforcing immigration laws stands in contrast to the policies of sanctuary cities, which have become havens for illegal aliens due to their limited cooperation with federal immigration agents.

The Trump administration has prioritized immigration enforcement and mass deportation.

It is considering pulling funding from sanctuary cities like New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia.

Noem’s actions align with this agenda, sending a clear message that dangerous illegal aliens are not welcome and will be removed from the country.

“We’ve sent a message clearly to the world: ‘Don’t come here. If you’re an illegal and if you’re dangerous, we have a target on you, and you will not be welcome and we will remove you,'” she declared.

Noem’s leadership has already shown results as three times more criminal illegal aliens are being arrested compared to the previous administration.

Additionally, she highlighted a decrease in encounters at the southern border, demonstrating the effectiveness of strong immigration policies.

As the debate over immigration rhetoric continues, Noem’s actions speak louder than words.

By personally participating in these raids and using strong language to describe criminal aliens, she is showing her commitment to protecting American citizens and upholding the rule of law.

Under Noem’s leadership, the Department of Homeland Security is clearly taking a no-nonsense approach to immigration enforcement, prioritizing the safety and security of law-abiding Americans.
