(VitalNews.org) – Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign has posted a list of her plans and policies on its website following criticism that her stance on many issues has been vague.
Polling has shown that both candidates are running in a tight race, and both sides are doing what they can to close in on a win. The Vice President has received a lot of support and momentum since she took over as the Democratic presidential nominee following Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the election.
Harris has received criticism around her policy stances as many have said that she has been vague in her policies. Her campaign responded by posting her policy positions on her website organized in four sections that focused on the economy, safety and crime, national security, and fundamental freedoms.
Her campaign stated that it would “build an opportunity economy and lower costs for families” as well as implement economic proposals like tax cuts for the middle class. She stated that she’d help make childcare more affordable and strengthen social security while focusing on small business growth by expanding the startup tax deduction.
She stated that she’d be bringing back a bipartisan border security bill since she believes in “strong border security and an earned pathway to citizenship.” She also added her stance on the war in Gaza, saying she would “always stand up for Israel’s right to defend itself and she will always ensure Israel has the ability to defend itself.”
On the website, under each section there was a space where her policies were compared to those of Project 2025, a conservative roadmap written for the next conservative presidential term.
