BOMBSHELL: Harris-Biden Giveaway Benefits 1 Million Americans

Hundred-dollar bills disintegrating in hand.

(VitalNews.org) – Wiping out debt for millions of borrowers at taxpayers’ expense, the Biden-Harris administration’s student loan giveaway scheme has now ballooned to over $175 billion.

This massive wealth transfer from working Americans to college graduates raises serious concerns about fiscal responsibility and fairness.

It also raises the question of how much more this reckless spending will cost hardworking taxpayers.

Initially created in 2007, the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program has exploded under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

What was once a limited program benefiting just 7,000 people has now expanded to over 1 million recipients.

“For too long, the government failed to live up to its commitments,” Biden said in a statement. “We vowed to fix that, and because of actions from our administration, now over 1 million public service workers have gotten the relief they are entitled to under the law.”

As part of its alleged achievements, the administration has proudly praised giving out $74 billion to cancel loans for public sector workers.

This dramatic expansion comes after the Biden-Harris administration unilaterally changed the rules in 2021 by bypassing Congress to loosen eligibility requirements.

The result has been a massive increase in government spending and debt cancellation, all on the backs of taxpayers who never took out these loans.

Education Secretary Miguel Cardona promoted this wealth transfer, saying: “I want to send a message to college students across America that pursuing a career in public service is not only a noble calling but a reliable pathway to becoming debt-free within a decade.”

This statement reveals the administration’s true agenda: incentivizing more government dependency while punishing taxpayers.

The average amount forgiven under this program is a staggering $70,000 per borrower.

Meanwhile, millions of Americans who did not attend college or who responsibly paid off their loans are left footing the bill.

Even more concerning, the Biden-Harris administration is not stopping here. Although the Supreme Court blocked attempts to cancel up to $20,000 in debt for 40 million borrowers unilaterally, the administration continues searching for ways to dodge the ruling and push through more loan forgiveness.

In response, some leaders are pushing back against this fiscal giveaway. GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump has proposed to eliminate the PSLF program entirely and opposes Biden’s broader student debt cancellation efforts.
