(VitalNews.org) – Bank documents released by the House Oversight Committee appear to show that over the course of several years, the Biden family business received over $10 million from business schemes in China and Romania in return for what appears to be nothing more than the peddling of political influence.
Business associates and Biden family members designed a network of more than 20 companies. In total, the business associates, the Biden family, and the aforementioned companies received over $10 million from companies under the control of foreign nationals, according to the committee.
The documents appear to contradict President Joe Biden’s assertions that his family received no money from China. The documents also raise questions about what the Biden family provided in terms of products or services for the money received.
Romanian Transactions:
Between 2015 and 2017, a company run by Gabriel Popoviciu (who was later charged and convicted of bribery and corruption offenses in Romania) paid Robinson Walker, LLC over $3 million. Robinson Walker is the Biden family business partner who subsequently sent the Biden family $1.3 million based on wire transfers made while Joe Biden was vice president.
According to the committee, the payments started just after Vice President Biden welcomed the Romanian President, Klaus Iohannis, to the White House in 2015.
Chinese Transactions:
Bank documents from the House Oversight Committee show that between 2017 and 2018, Hudson West III, a company run by Hunter Biden, sent over $4 million to other companies tied to Hunter Biden and over $75,000 to companies traced back to James Biden. In addition, an official closely connected to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) paid Hunter Biden $1 million in “legal retainer fees” in 2017. In the same year, Hunter Biden also received a large diamond from the same official worth $80,000.
This follows revelations disclosed from data retrieved from Hunter Biden’s laptop in 2019 which appeared to show close links between the Biden family and the CCP.
