(VitalNews.org) – Aging Hollywood elitist Sharon Stone recently slammed Trump voters by suggesting they represent America’s ignorance and arrogance.
The out-of-touch actress went on her shocking rant at an Italian film festival, exposing the left’s disdain for hardworking Americans and their contempt for conservatives.
At the Torino Film Festival, where Stone was awarded a lifetime achievement award, the Basic Instinct star could not resist the opportunity to bash America and its citizens.
Instead of graciously accepting her accolade, Stone launched into a tirade that targeted the nation’s very foundations, comparing the United States to a naive and arrogant teenager.
“We have to stop and think about who we choose for government, And if, in fact, we are actually choosing our government or if the government is choosing itself,” Stone said.
Stone’s comments have been deemed disrespectful to the patriotic process that millions of Americans participate in every election cycle.
By insinuating that the government “chooses itself,” the actress is questioning the integrity of the electoral system and American voters’ intelligence.
But Stone did not stop there. She went on to insult the vast majority of hardworking Americans who do not have the luxury of jetting off to international film festivals.
“So, Americans who don’t travel, who 80% don’t have a passport, who are uneducated, are in their extraordinary naïveté. What I would say is that the only way that we can help with these issues is to help each other,” Stone shockingly stated.
Stone’s assumption that Americans without passports are somehow less educated or informed is a slap in the face to the millions of patriotic citizens who work tirelessly to make the country great.
As if Stone’s rant was not enough, fellow Hollywood liberal Alec Baldwin chimed in with his own misguided views on American media and society.
“Television news in the United States is a business. They have to make money, There’s a hole. There’s a vacuum. There is a gap, if you will, in information for Americans,” Baldwin claimed.
Baldwin’s comments suggest the left has a desire to control the flow of information to the American public.
